I love Mego vehicles. They make a great display for your loose figures.
I have been searching high and low for adequate vehicles that were not made by
Mego, but fit in with the difficult to find 8 inch scale (approximately 1:9).
Here is a photo album of my custom Mego-sized vehicles. This is my "rough
draft" of where I want to go with these vehicles, and I hope to make these even
better as time goes on. I have used regular inkjet sticker paper for the
time being. I will be assessing sticker size and locations. Often one side
is different from the other so I can get a better idea of what workd. My next
draft will use high quality clear decals when the color of the vehicle should
show up. See the Jokermobile door cards and hood emblem for examples. I hope you
enjoy them and get ideas for your own. In the future I will add original
Mego vehicles to the album. Note the Amphi-cat was originally made for
Action Jackson, but was made by Irwin.
